Trisha and Alex’s wedding was a heartfelt fusion of cultures, faiths, and vibrant celebration — a true multicultural destination wedding in Portugal. Set along the banks of the Douro River, this elegant two-day event brought together guests from England, France, India, and the US for a celebration that was as global as it was deeply personal.

The festivities began with a sunset welcome dinner at Pestana Douro Riverside. Guests gathered over Portuguese cuisine and river views, kicking off the weekend with warmth and connection. The next day, the wedding began at Palácio do Freixo, where Trisha and Alex exchanged vows in a stunning Hindu ceremony held in the palace’s Italian garden, with colourful florals and the Douro as a backdrop — a moment of peace, beauty, and tradition.
